Rosalia High School Band to travel to Washington, D.C.
Thirty members of the band, their teacher and chaperones will travel to Washington, D.C. in late February. Band Officers gave a short presentation to the Rosalia Chamber of Commerce on January 16, 2008 telling of their upcoming travels. They will participate in many activities during their stay including a trip to the Smithsonian Museum and hopefully a tour of the White House. The expenses of the trip are being covered by the students and their families and the Band Boosters. The Chamber passed the hat to add a bit of funds to their fun in DC.
